Vaccination and immunisation is not compulsory, but some schools will not enrol your child unless you can prove that they have been vaccinated and immunised, or are exempt. They are the largest provider of training for physicians in Victoria. Medicare pays for 75 per cent of the associated medical costs and the patient or private health insurer pays for the remaining costs, including accommodation and other associated costs.
